Set your hearts and heels in motion with another amazing evening of chanting with our favorite traveling kirtan singers from festive New Orleans. We are excited to welcome them back to our chanting house to sing and celebrate with YOU!

Each person has one of the traditional planets of Vedic astrology associated with their sense of self.  Sun types are very different than Saturn types for instance, as strong Sun types like to emote, while Saturn types work diligently and often quietly behind the scenes.  In this entertaining introduction to the astrology of India, Dennis will discuss the different planetary types, their virtues and vices, how they operate in this world in an informative and humorous discussion.  Let's see if you can guess your type when it comes to your strongest planet! Tea and treats provided.

We excitedly welcome Dennis back for another illuminating workshop, this year on color and gemstones. The Vedic Astrology of India has long known the association of the seven visible planets with the visible spectrum of light, and that the influence of the planets is transmitted through the vibration of light waves.  This workshop will explore the color of each of the planets and the gems they are associated with, to transmit the color of the planets as healing measures.

Thought you knew your birthstone? The confusion started in 1912 when the American National Retail Jeweler's Association changed the birthstone associations for more commercially available gems, thus confusing the traditional sacred gem associations, purely for material gain.  In this workshop Dennis will discuss the traditional gem associations of the nine planets and the various schools of gem theory and practice, such as the traditional wearing of the gems of the planets, gem elixirs and vibratory gem healing.  Each person attending the class will learn the gem that associates with their ruling planet, and receive a mini-reading with the group.

If you are registered for any workshop or special class and paid in full (which you will now need to be in order to be considered registered, anyway), we will happily issue you a refund of your payment. Check it out:

• If you cancel 2 weeks or more before the event, we will happily give you a 100% refund.
• If it is less than 2 weeks from the date of the workshop, we will happily give you a 100% refund if we are able to fill your spot.
• If it is less than 2 weeks from the date of the workshop, and we are not able to fill your spot in the class, we will give you a refund of 75% of the cost of the workshop or class.

As you know, many of our classes fill up and then get a waiting list, so the likelihood that we will fill the space is pretty high. But that might mean that we have to wait until after the workshop or class happens to find out if we can fill the space and get you a refund!
